This is YOUR COMMUNITY theater steeped in local history and committed to promoting the performing arts and to providing cultural and educational opportunities to the general public at the amateur level. Our community keeps the lights on and the music playing at The Barnstormers Theater. We need your help today more than ever.
VOLUNTEERS are needed for the upcoming season. We need people who would like to greet patrons and sell refreshments as part of Barnstormers hospitality. What about people experienced in locating grant monies to keep The Barnstormers Theater itself running at peak efficiency as part of Barnstormers Fundraising. Volunteers are always sought to help backstage with each production, and much more. In short, The Barnstormers NEEDS YOU!! Please contact the theater at (610) 461-9969 or send us an e-mail at barnstormers_theater@yahoo.com. Here are just a few ways you can donate time and skills.
Hospitality -If you or members of your organization are interested in arranging hospitality for a production this season, please call the theater at 610-461-9969. >A board representative will contact you within a few days of your call.
Grounds - Help clean the theater and grounds prior to performances and special events.
Production Staff - Are you a carpenter, an electrician, or a painter? The Barnstormers needs people who enjoy construction work, lighting, sewing costumes, locating props, and painting scenery.  Your experiences in organzing your very busy lifestyles can be used in the volunteer positions of stage manager, production assistant or perhaps an assistant director.
Fundraising - A key role in supporting any organization. Production budgets and building maintenance depend on funding supplied from other sources than ticket sales. The Barnstormers would greatly benefit from experienced grant writers and or those who enjoy meeting the community in "up close and personal" fundraising events. Barnstormers is a 501 (c) (3) tax-exempt organization and a member of the United Way agency code number 5867.
